As specified by "Purina.co.uk", a cat should shower once every 4-6 weeks, But I give my cat a shower once every 15 days because she is nasty... and it's heat time...

I gave both Morticia and Microsoft a shower today and they both hate me equally.

Couldn't give Pinky a shower because he's a senior cat and can easily cut me into 5 pieces with his knife-like nails, which I refuse to trim because he too is in heat and they help him with self-defense against other cats.

 

Keep in mind that Kittens and cats (under 12 months) can be bathed up to every 3 days because of their dirt, and this is conforming to Totobi.pet .

Once they're 12 months or older, they can be bathed once every 3 months to a year. (Totobi.pet)

I should be doing bibliography, but I had procrastination for lunch, I'll play some music while reading and i'll write an article about FTIR and XRD analysis to be scheduled for posting for tomorrow morning

I should apply for a post that can end tomorrow, so  I really need to apply omg i just forgot AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...................Aa..

 

• January 2024 Challenge Update: 

Reading Challenge: Book a week,

 

 

 

I've already read Mercy by Jullie Garwood, Melina, I also read the Confidence Code and currently i'm reading "mein Kampf" in arabic

Reading books in different languages is very refreshing, even though I haven't planned to read anything in French, Nevertheless, Arabic, English and German are already good enough for me

maybe next month i'll include French in my reading challenge

At the beginning of 2024, I decided to do monthly challenges, so at the end of the year i'll finish 12 challenges and one yearly challenge inshallah

 

• Plant Update :

 

The Aloe vera used to look yellow, so I googled that and apparently that's due to excessive watering or excessive sun exposure, so I stopped swatering her and shielded her in my room 

• Yearly challenge Update:

One of my yearly challenges is to try to gain experience points in my field (chemical engineering)

So, I recently applied for an internship in a research and development institute in my country, one of the biggest R&D institutes that work on renewable energy, and I got accepted

I started the internship this week and so far it's good, I learned how to do FTIR  Analysis, which is an analytical technique used to identify organic, polymeric, and, in some cases, inorganic materials. 

I also had the chance to operate in a chemistry laboratoory by myself, to manipulate products, use an Ultrasonic cleaner, use pure acid to clean Metallic substrates, and so far it's been well

I usually post updates on my twitter becausee it's easilly accessible with phone, instead of eklablog, I also started posting videos on TikTok

 

 

Oh I found a little tiny starving cat in the institute and I had no food on me omg, nobody had food either

Inshallah someone feeds her until monday, I'll bring some cat food with me and give her some water, she can't eat shit in there, the institute is full of acids and chemical products, it's like an industry.... nothing alive is there.... Inshallah Allah be with her

and this one has a story behind it :

For the past months there was a homeless man who lived in the train station, he'd play podcasts on his radio Today I found that most of his stuff disappeared so I asked the lady works there & it turns out that people has collected money 4 him to rent a house photo "the corner"

 

 

and I think I stopped here, I haven't finished the challenge :(

But I had so much fun looking for photo to take during the day and being creative with the angles,

some of the pictures are very beautiful (if you ignore Eklablog's quality), the angles and stories behind them ♥

 

I found on Pinterest a photography challenge, so I decided to follow it for December, it's true that I commenced a little late, on the fifth I guess but oh well better late than never.

These kind of activities help capture small details in our regular days that we don't notice,

they help you remember your life better and capture the very small moments

it also helps develop one's creativity, by thinking about ways to make the photo better, angles to shoot from to have a more unique photo, and how the colors match together to make everything harmonious 

It is also very fun and is a good hobby to have, especially since you don't need to be that good at it, nor compete with other people, but to get inspired by them

Ps: it has been a while since I last posted, I still struggle with routine and discipline and I got used to post my thoughts on Twitter now, since it's more practical

A lot has been on my mind recently

I talked to the psychologist, and I'm very lucky to have a very good one

I'll probably post what we talked about soon but not right now

I've always had a lined path in front of me, and life is as chaotic as it can be, it's unpredictable and you can't just limit it to one path

maybe some ppl do, but most of us don't

I've studied and did my best but after graduation, I wasn't expecting what was going to happen

the rejection from companies, the obligation to travel far from my family to find a job and not necessarily to a good secure place

the fact that I need the experience to get a job and a job to get experience has totally fucked me up

I'm wasting my youth on social media instead of working hard, I want to work hard and build stuff, but literally, I don't know what I want to build and what I can or should do

I thought about changing careers and trying something in computer science because it's the most successful field right now

but that will take me years and I'll also fall into the circle of job experience thing

I also wouldn't be as good as other younger students

and honestly, I'm not into wasting other years learning and studying and finding nothing at the end

my main goal right now is to leave the country create a future outside of here and be as independent as i can

I would love to do 2 jobs

I'd love to live in a very small apartment with one cat

I'd open the radio first thing in the morning while making coffee, before going to work

I'd feed my cat, kiss her goodbye, and leave for the day

 

 

 

 

 

 

I created my ma-bimbo account when I was 14 years old,

I took this picture right now, I try hard to give my tomatoes the best,

I put used coffee grounds in boiling water and mix it with grounded egg shells, I then let the mixture sit till it becomes cold. then I use that mixture to water all of my plants,

I've read that a plant needs Nitrogen, Calcium, and Potassium:

• the calcium is provided by the eggshells
• the nitrogen by the coffee grounds
• and potassium by potato peels (that I add to the hot water mixture)

 

I generally do compost, whenever my mother cooks and has leftovers, I collect them all, cut them into small pieces dig a hole in the garden, and put them there, I then water it

Springandsoil website has stated that potato peels can take up to 12 weeks to decompose, and 75-80% of decomposition will happen in the first 5-6 weeks, It also stated that the period can vary with how big the potato peels are, so cutting them into fine pieces will certainly help to accelerate the decomposition.It's important to keep in mind that, potato peels are a potential source of fungus, so you should make sure to bury them well into the ground and to heap them frequently (quora)

 

 

we found this #Cat a few months ago in a hole outside our home, the neighbor wanted her to starve to death and forbade us from feeding her just because she hated #cats. my father however started training the cat to find food in front of our house instead of the neighbor's.

 

I just gave her a shower, with soap and human shampoo, cause I got nothing cat-related in here, I then sprayed her with anti-flea spray, she's currently hiding in the dark and is plotting to kill me.

Just like with any cat, I'm teaching her how to give and receive kisses on her tiny forehead.

She's spending the night on my bed and I decided to name her Morticia ♥

It's 6 am and I'm drinking my morning coffee,

and a morning coffee comes with morning thoughts, most of them are very optimistic and calm

I watered my tomatoes and made a mixture out of potato skin and minced egg shells, mixed them with water, and put them in the microwave for 3 minutes to help extract the nutrients in them, including nitrogen, potassium, and calcium. I've read that microwave extraction works well with leaves, so tea made in the microwave will have more nutrients than tea made on the stove.

Another friend of mine quit work yesterday. She found an opportunity abroad

I'll make a routine for myself to apply everyday morning after salat sobh

and I have a night routine that I should stick to, for my skincare, doing wudhu every day 5 times a day has dried my face so I need to apply moisturizer, my face is dry by nature so i need extra care. haven't got sunscreen yet. maybe tomorrow nchalah.

Yesterday wasn't bad, but a Team leader did something that is absolutely free, he could've just skipped it and it wouldn't affect anything

He noticed that I spent 1 Minute, not actively working, a literal one minute and he just came to my session and opened the tool I work on , just to fkn check and he then he blamed me and went back to his desk. WTF literally WTF

btw gargling with salty water is really good for your gums. i'll do that in a bit

basically I wanted to buy one for my grandmother and I didn't know which one to buy

 I make sure to add anything organic to the soil (fruit skin, coffee, potato skin, ..) anything that could be beneficial, hopefully they grow ♥ ♥
